The NRHS created RailCamp as an educational program that presents hands-on the history of railroading, the excitement of modern day operations, and opportunities for future careers in railroading. The NRHS underwrites a portion of each RailCamper's costs (about $250.00 per camper) because we believe in investing in the railroaders and historians of tomorrow, today's young people. The limited budget reduces the numbers of campers the NRHS can help with full or partial scholarships each year, but with the help of NRHS members and Chapters, RailCamp can continue to grow and expand. Pease consider making a donation in support of this worthy program.
